To use up all the fresh picked fruit I have had lately (freezer still heaving however, but I’m not complaining!) This is a mixed fruit jam, great if you have some smaller amounts of fruits.
Simply use this recipe but using the above fruits (or any other) and cut the damsons in to quarters, peel, core and chop the apples. Alternatively you can boil the entire fruits, cores and all in a little water until broken down, juicy and mushy and strain through a fine sieve to get as much juice as possible, discard the mushy fruit, weigh the juice and add the weight of sugar accordingly, following the earlier mentioned recipe. Easy as pie!
